Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club

welcome.jpg

Playing at one most pleasant places to play cricket in Lancashire, Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club are the largest amateur club on the Fylde Coast. With 5 Senior teams and 6 Junior Sides, we give our members the chance to play competitive cricket whilst enjoying a great social aspect, that a family club provides.

Our ground, that overlooks the River Wyre is situated in Little Thornton, tucked away behind the old Illawalla Nightclub site. Accessible from Wyre Road (off Skippool road) Cricket is played most days throughout the summer.

The Club has a thriving Junior Section with over 15 Qualified Junior coaches, who run 6 Junior Teams, and offer relevant coaching to each child; From Soft ball training to the young ones, to Intense training to the Under 17s. By developing our Home-Grown talent we are able to give our juniors games in Senior Cricket in either one of our four Saturday sides, or our Sunday XI who all play in the Palace Shield Competition.

A Team of dedicated followers and Volunteers mean that TCCC is a joy to play at for Our own members and also Visiting Opposition, and it has been widely recognised as TCCC Having "The Best Teas in the Palace Shield"
